NeXus Applications releases a new XSport Schedule upgrade version 1.5. League Schedulers can now download and upgrade their software to take advantage of he new program features.
With this upgrade, users may now add games that are played on the same day same time only once, input scores for games played, run additional types of reports; an official report, a division report, one report that will provide you with all the events schedules at arenas you manage. With the successful launch of Schedule-XSport, NeXus Applications rolls-out to wider audiences. Designed for Hockey, this powerful scheduling tool offers a variety of reports and a variety of ways an association can mange its games, practices and team events.

NeXus is pleased to have such response to XSport. The differentiator to other software packages available is that this hockey-based software has been designed by and for the hockey ice scheduler. Keeping the focus of the target audience was the success of this rollout, says Rudy Demier. Notably the conflict utility is so powerful that associations are amazed when the system informs them of conflicts. If the system can find three conflicts, if you factor only the ice time saved for most association it has already paid for itself.

Designed for hockey, NeXus-Sports is the only Canadian Hockey Scheduling Software designed by experienced Ice Schedulers. To address a missing component to most application suites NeXus Applications has designed a package for the Ice Scheduler that allows full control and ease of organizing all association events. The Scheduler can import of games and practices from spreadsheets, print various reports, use email to communicate rescheduled games or practices without retyping in the game particulars, email to city staff Arena Reports showing all events scheduled at that arena by any period in different file formats, provide team schedules in a calendar view by month and more. Associations are amazed at the features this product has for them.

To compliment the Tournament package tournament participants can view game results, scores and standings from their JE2 complient PDA. (Palm, Blackberry) This assures that those in arenas that have no internet services or for those who are in the middle of a soccer field are kept up-to-date on the progress of their team.

IMC, the Inter Provincial Music Camp is very excited to be working with NeXus Applications. In response to feedback from campers and parents, IMC decided to make the move to online registration for IMC, The Jazz Camp and Camp Rock. For parents, it is simple, they will be able to access their camper information at anytime and still have the option of multiple payment options. Says Anne Fleming-Read of IMC. IMC offers a challenging instrumental and musical experience geared to the needs of young musicians from the Intermediate and High School grades 7-12. The program is design to accommodate players ranging from the most talented and proficient which play in symphonic ensembles, to the less experienced players who joining the concert ensembles. IMC is a Non-Profit; Non-Sectarian Charitable Foundation service young musicians ages 7-18.
